So many of us are running on empty, moving through our days in a state of quiet tension, always switched on and rarely truly at ease. Even when we stop, we do not rest. We collapse into sleep from exhaustion rather than drift softly into it.

Love to Lie Down is an invitation to change that rhythm. To pause. To let the nervous system exhale. To relearn the language of rest.

Across five weeks, we gather for gentle movement, breathwork, and deeply restorative practices that calm the body and quiet the mind. Each session offers a space to land, unwind, and reconnect to a slower, kinder pace of being.

It is not your fault that slowing down feels hard. The world asks so much of us. But together, we can create a pocket of time each week to remember what it feels like to be fully at ease. To rest not as a luxury, but as a birthright.
COURSE OUTLINE
Each week builds gently on the last, inviting you to slow down, soothe your nervous system, and rediscover rest as a practice of remembering, not doing.

Each session is 60 minutes and includes guided breathwork, gentle movement, restorative poses, and stillness. You’ll also receive access to the recordings for ongoing practice and integration.
Week 1: Finding the Ground
We begin with arrival. Through gentle movement, breath, and awareness, we connect to the support beneath us. This is about establishing safety in the body and learning to feel held by the earth.
Week 2: Open to Receive
A week for softening into presence. We explore the relationship between noticing and breath: how awareness shapes the rhythm of our breathing, and how the breath, in turn, shapes the quality of our awareness.
Week 3: Resting the Bones
This is where we begin to let go. We rest the body so completely that the bones themselves can settle, releasing layers of muscular holding and mental effort.
Week 4: Held and Contained
Safety allows surrender. Using props like blankets and bolsters, we create containment, a cocoon of comfort that invites the nervous system to soften.
Week 5: Softening the Veil
We close with a yoga nidra practice, a journey through the layers of self into stillness and spacious awareness. Here, rest becomes something sacred: a remembering of who you are beneath the noise and the doing.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Each week we gather online for 60 minutes of gentle, guided practice. Together we move slowly, breathe deeply, and create space for the body to unwind. Every session blends slow flow, restorative postures, breathwork, and stillness. These practices are designed to support your nervous system and bring you back home to yourself.

You do not need to be experienced in yoga. This is a space for anyone who feels tired, overstretched, or in need of grounding.

All sessions are recorded, so you can return to the practices in your own time and at your own pace.
