December has a way of asking a lot of us. Festive preparations, social events, travelling to visit loved ones, on top of everything else already on your plate. It can be a joyous time, but with all the outgoing energy, it's important to remember to pour back into your own cup so you can enjoy the time feeling resourced and rested.

At Villa Epicurea, the forest cocoons us, as we gaze out to the horizon over the sea. A little sanctuary from all the hustle, just 40 minutes from Lisbon.

This is not a retreat designed to recharge you for Monday. There is no protocol, no five step plan, no better version of yourself waiting at the end of it for you to become. It is a full day, in a beautiful place, with people who have decided that pausing is not an indulgence. It is necessary.
What we do with the day is simple.
Yoga and breath to open.
A full sound bath to take you deep into rest.
A shared seasonal lunch.
Space to reflect before we close.
Tea and something sweet, as the light turns gold and then disappears over the sea. Nothing complicated, nothing to master.
Just enough structure to hold you, and enough space to actually arrive.

WHERE THE FOREST MEETS THE SEA
THE PLACE
Villa Epicurea
Nestled in the forest, overlooking the ocean
40 minutes south of Lisbon
We gather at Villa Epicurea in Fetais, where forest cocoons us and the sea stays visible in the distance. We practice up in the dome, a calm, light room that looks out over the land. Lunch and tea are shared in the living and dining space below, the kind of room that feels like a friend's home rather than a venue.

Some kind words from people who've come before

  • Veronique
Pippa is absolutely amazing, so talented and truly magical in the way she guides you through each sensation in your body during her yoga classes. I joined one of her special days and it was pure joy from start to finish. I can't wait to do it again.
  • Pedro
It was very nice to be there with you and the other people, they all bring their heart to the place and create a very lovely environment. I also found the way you work through the yoga moves very nice, with a lot of souplesse, flowing moves, like nature and vegetation dancing in the wind. I really want to return another day.
  • Kristina
I have attended a couple of Pippa's events. Her yoga flow is really gentle yet potent. I have enjoyed the community aspect a lot as well. Pippa has a grounded presence and creates safe space for the participants. I trust whatever she puts together is a wonderful overall experience. Highly recommend her.
COME AS YOU ARE
WHO THIS DAY IS FOR
This day is for anyone who can feel the pace picking up. For anyone craving stillness and warmth before the season takes over completely. For the ones who want to arrive fully, rather than just get through it.
